Whilst not strictly speaking a stones throw from the city centre, there is a heck of a lot going on in this particular part of Preston.
For the walkers and runners amongst you, Moor Park is an ideal place for an early morning workout, or even for a light evening stroll. Emmanuel Street is also very close to some large supermarkets (Sainsbury only a few minutes away), and Blackpool Road is host to loads of shops, takeaways and salons.
Heading a few minutes south, you’ll find yourself in Preston’s Adelphi Quarter which boasts some lively bars, pubs and live music venues. The Ferret pub has recently undergone a facelift and is well worth a visit for any music lovers.
